The office will be closed on Monday 26th for the Bank Holiday.
We will be open Saturday 24th 10am – 12pm and then will re-open as normal 9am Tuesday 27th Aug 2019.
Any emails which we receive after 12pm on Saturday will not be processed until Tuesday.
Please note, although our system will allow you to complete an application, for events taking place over the weekend, We may not be able to process or honour your request. If you have not received your policy certificate you will not be on cover.
A: If you are unable to comply with the DTI regulations, then unfortunately we cannot offer you cover. You MUST comply with those regulations otherwise we will not be able to provide a policy for your event. However, if you are unable to comply with the DTI tips we have a degree of flexibility and cover will be offered depending on the content of your risk assessment and site plan.
A: Yes, we can offer Employers Liability Insurance for stewards, ticket collectors and general helpers – whether they are paid or voluntary helpers. Unfortunately, we cannot offer cover for the people releasing the fireworks or lighting the bonfire.
A: It is always best practice to make everyone in the surrounding area aware of the fireworks night. Not only will you be engaging with the community but residents or nearby businesses will be able to take any precautions such as keeping pets inside, in case it causes them a shock!
