What does our golf day insurance cover?

Our golf day cover is designed to insure the costs directly related to prizes which are being awarded to golfers who are able to hit a hole in one during their golf day event. Here at Event Insurance Services, we’re able to cover the cost of prizes up to the value of £50,000 for hole in one competitions if won by participants (in accordance with our golf day insurance terms and conditions)*.

We can provide reinstatement options for a second place prize should the original hole in one prize be won early on in the competition (please note that the reinstatement prize can only be won once). Furthermore, we can also provide cover for a maximum of three subsidiary prizes valued at £250, £100 and £50. 

*The winning hole in one needs to be witnessed by a pre-disclosed adjudicator. For prizes valued at £25,000 and over, the hole in one must be video recorded. The winner must be a registered competitor in your golf day competition in order to qualify for the prize and their original scorecard and tournament pairing sheet must be presented to be verified. Golf tour professionals are excluded from the golf day insurance policy cover. Adjudicators may be employed from the following professions:

  • Teacher

  • Golf Professional

  • Lawyer

  • Veterinarian

  • Bank Manager

  • Police Officer

  • Qualified Accountant

  • Justice of the Peace

  • Company Director 

We are also able to provide public liability insurance which will cover costs and expenses incurred due to your negligence. You’ll be protected from costs and expenses relating to accidental bodily harm, damage or loss of property and death.
