Our garden party insurance key covers are public liability and event cancellation but we can also offer cover for event equipment insurance and employers liability should you require it. Please see below how these covers can protect you:

  • Public liability - this includes accidental bodily injury to a member of the public or accidental damage to third party property if proven to be a result of your negligence at the event.

  • Event cancellation - any event, including private and personal events can be costly to organise and the last thing you want is for the event to be forced to cancel, leaving you out of pocket. Our standard event cancellation cover will protect you for irrecoverable costs which are incurred as a result of cancellation, postponement or abandonment that is unavoidable and out of your control (such as adverse weather conditions). We are also able to offer extensions of this cover, including cancellation due to a key person being unable to attend and cancellation due to an accident, death or illness of a person aged over 75.

  • Employers liability - this is relevant for events with volunteers or helpers of employees working at your garden party. You’ll be covered for your legal liability to pay for claims, damages and expenses which are a result of injury whilst under your supervision.

  • Event equipment - this provides cover for items brought or hired for the event (which are not part of the venue’s fixtures or fittings). We can cover you for accidental damage, loss or theft.
