Roll-A-Dice competitions are a great way to raise funds at your event and give your guests an opportunity to have some fun and possibly even win a big prize! While the odds of winning may be quite low, it can happen, so you need to be prepared to supply the prize.

To win a prize in a Roll-A-Dice competition, the participant must roll seven sixes from seven dice in a single turn, all on a single throw. The organiser charges for each turn and must supply the promised prize, which is usually quite an expensive prize due to the low odds of winning the competition, if the participant wins.

This policy offers you peace of mind during the competition, safe in the knowledge that the cost of any prizes awarded will be reimbursed by Events Insurance Services. Our policy states that the claim will only be met if the Roll-A-Dice competition is witnessed by a pre-disclosed adjudicator and has been videotaped as proof. The seven dice must be standard, six sided dice with only one number six on each die and must be supplied by Events Insurance Services. The adjudicator must be employed in one of the following professions:

  • Teacher
  • Doctor
  • Lawyer
  • Bank Manager
  • Police Officer
  • Veterinarian
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Company Director
  • Justice of the Peace

There is also the opportunity to include ‘reinstatement’ within your policy, which provides cover for the prize to be reinstated if a participant wins the original prize. The reinstated prize can only be won once, but it offers everyone the chance to enjoy the game if someone else wins.Similar to this, we also provide prize indemnity for our hole in one insurance.
