Simon's role at Event Insurance

As our Head of Compliance, Simon is responsible for ensuring Event Insurance operates to the highest regulatory and operational standards. Working closely with colleagues, brokers, insurers and key business partners, he oversees compliance across the business while also providing expertise in underwriting, claims, IT, operations and business processes. His broad knowledge and problem-solving approach help ensure both our customers and partners receive the highest level of service.

With an eye for detail and a passion for doing things the right way, Simon plays a key role in maintaining the trust and confidence our customers place in us.

Simon's top tip for event organisers

“Check your contracts and paperwork carefully with suppliers and anyone responsible for approving your event. They can be complex and may make you responsible for more than you realise.”

Outside of work

Outside of work, Simon enjoys cooking and baking, as well as spending time with friends around the table running a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. He's also a keen gamer, enjoying both video games and tabletop games.
