Dan's role at Event Insurance

As one of our Senior Underwriters, Dan plays a key role in supporting the underwriting team and ensuring customers receive expert advice and efficient service. His day-to-day responsibilities include allocating incoming work, supporting new team members, handling customer enquiries, reviewing applications and assessing risk to make informed coverage decisions. No two days are ever the same, and Dan enjoys the variety that comes with helping organisers protect their events.

Dan's top tip for event organisers

“Always complete a detailed risk assessment. It helps minimise risks throughout your event, ensures your venue and plans have been properly considered, and provides valuable documentation should you ever need to make a claim.”

Outside of work

Outside of work, Dan is a keen football fan, whether he’s watching matches with friends or playing at the weekend. He also enjoys listening to 80s and 90s music, going to the gym, playing board games with his family, and relaxing with a good film or TV series.
