With Christmas fast approaching its time to dust off those dancing shoes and get into the festive spirit.
Goodbye summer
Summer is quickly becoming a distant memory, gone are those long warm evenings, cooling dips in the sea and gorging on an array of BBQ food. We are ready to embrace the winter months, pulling on knitted jumpers, getting cosy in front of open fires and the countdown to Christmas. It won’t be long before we’re hearing over played Christmas songs in department stores and seeing decorations in windows. It seems to be as soon as Halloween has passed, Christmas is upon us.
Hello Christmas
Within the corporate calendar it’s the busiest time of the year. Christmas is the time for Office parties, for your staff to let their hair down and reflect on the working year that came before. As an employer, it’s an opportunity to say thank you to your staff and show your appreciation.
Catering for your needs
Given this, we wanted to create a policy package which was specifically designed for Christmas parties, whether it’s a lavish affair or small and intimate festive gathering. With a combined Public Liability and Cancellation policy, not only is the policy value for money, it provides invaluable cover. The cancellation element can protect you against the unforeseeable cancellation of your whole event, which given the time of year, may occur as a result of adverse weather conditions.
Requirements
Whilst a hotel or function room may hold their own Public Liability cover, if you are hiring their venue, they may expect you to hold your own Public Liability policy, with the indemnity level based on the requirement of the venue itself.
More often than not, it’s a good idea to check in with the venue in advance and ask them to advise you on the appropriate level of cover.
The last thing you want to worry about whilst kissing under the mistletoe is the possibility of a miss-hap. We want you to let your hair down without worrying about the unthinkable happening.
