We haven't long said goodbye to summer, but before we know it, the festive season will be upon us.
Tis the season to be jolly after all - and what better way to celebrate with work colleagues than to throw an awesome Christmas Party!

Create a theme for your party
Creating a theme brings a sense of unity between colleagues, especially if it involves dressing up. Giving each employee enough time to plan their outfits sees an area of common ground, especially in larger companies where everyone may not know each other very well. It's a helping hand too! It can take ages to plan what you're going to wear - male or female - so setting some guidelines helps in the planning process. You could set the theme of Christmas jumpers, go glam with a Masquerade Ball or aim big with a Winter Wonderland theme.
Play fun games
Nothing brings a group together and boosts morale more than party games! Get the group up and interacting with each other.
Give out prizes
Who doesn't like winning prizes?! This is a sure way to get everyone involved. Chances are, if you've got something to play for, you're more likely to play!
Rent a photo booth
One word - “props”! If we're all being totally honest, we love a photo booth and we love props even more! Finding hats, fake moustaches, maybe musical instruments or even old sporting equipment can work really well.

Hiring exciting entertainment
You want your event to be memorable, and although a DJ or band are a great idea for getting people on the dance floor, maybe consider hiring a magician for the night – it will make sure your Christmas Party is talked about long after the last Christmas cracker has been pulled!
Incorporate a charitable cause
Not everyone can be fortunate enough to celebrate this Christmas season and with most staff members in the festive spirit, use this as an opportunity to raise donations for a chosen charity by holding a raffle. Secret Santa
In the lead up to the Christmas party, write every staff members name on a piece of paper, pop it in a hat and in turn pass the hat around the office for each person to pick a name. Set a budget. Then shop your socks off for the chosen person. Pop each present under the Christmas tree with the recipients’ name on but nothing else! A great way to involve the whole office and perhaps the perfect opportunity to do a little investigative work to find out what your chosen person might like!
Company gifts
As with the Christmas party, giving each employee a gift from the company can really boost morale, and make an employee feel appreciated. If it's not a huge company, you could tailor each present specifically to the taste of the person and if that's not possible, chose a generic female/male gift & personalise with an individual greeting card.

Give them something to talk about over office coffee breaks by hiring a knock out venue and make sure there's enough food to go round. There's a high chance that most of your guests will be enjoying a few festive drinks, so don't let them lose their heads!
