Did you know that one in three children are living in poverty in our local area?

With this statistic as a harsh reality, wave 105 Cash for Kids launched Mission Christmas. This charity aims to ensure that all disadvantaged children receive at least one Christmas present this year. For the majority, waking up on Christmas Day without presents or loved ones surrounding us is incomprehensible, but for some, it's normal. That's why it's such a great mission to be involved with & why we, along with many local businesses are extremely proud to be supporting it.

Christmas should be a magical place for everyone & whilst parents and guardians want to spoil their children with big gestures & gifts in all shapes and sizes, in a lot of cases, they simply can't afford to. For some, providing shelter & food for themselves and their families leaves nothing left for luxuries. With over 84,000 people living in poverty in Hampshire, Dorset & the Isle of Wight alone, not everyone gets the kind of Christmas they deserve.

As a company, we would like to ask if you could buy one extra present this Christmas and donate a gift for a child. Any gift, no matter how large or small, will make a huge difference to a child waking up on Christmas Day this year. Last year saw £840,848 worth of cash & presents distributed to 34,150 local children & it really made a difference.

This year we are acting as a collection point for Mission Christmas so if you would like to get involved, you can send any gifts to our business address-

Event House, 20a Headlands Business Park, Ringwood BH24 3PB.

The gifts can range from anything such as a teddy bear or a book to something more extravagant like a bike or a skateboard! Each gift may vary in ages, from a baby up to an 18 year old.

They must be brand new and unwrapped, and needs to be with us by Thursday 10thDecember.

Helping us to support Mission Christmas 2015 will help children living in poverty in the local area enjoy their Christmas too.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.
