Q1: My event is outside of the UK. Can I take out a one off event policy with Event Insurance Services?
A: No. Unfortunately the geographical limitations on all of our policies are within the UK only.
Q2: I am not a permanent UK resident. Can I still take out insurance with you?
A: We can only offer cover to permanent UK residents
Q3: I run an official club with paying members. If one member accidentally injures another member, is cover in place for this?
A: Yes, we offer “member to member” cover for any official clubs with paying members.
Q4: My event runs for longer than 4 days. Can you still cover my event and if so, at what additional cost?
A: We can cover events longer than 4 days in duration. Please contact us for a quotation.
Q5: The attendance at my event is due to exceed the 10,000 limit on your rating guide. Can you still cover me?
A: Yes, we can still quote for you, but this needs to be done by referral to our Underwriters. Please complete a bespoke and tailored enquiry form and send it to us to obtain terms.
Q6: Which level of Public Liability cover do I require?
A: It is best to check with the local council or the venue you are using. They may stipulate that you require a certain level. If not, it really is up to you.
Q7: We do not employ anybody to help run our event, but we use local volunteers from the village. Do we still need Employers Liability?
A: Yes. Employers Liability is a legal requirement. Despite the fact that you are not paying them, you still have a legal liability towards the people you use to help you.
Q8: Some of the event property I am using exceeds the maximum single item value of £2,000. Can this still be covered?
A: Yes we can still cover this equipment depending on what it is. Often a higher policy excess will be applied. Please apply for a quotation if any of your equipment exceeds the £2,000 mark.

A: Unfortunately our cancellation policies exclude claims arising due to a pre existing illness or condition.
